Role Description Phlebotomist position is a Part-time and PRN hybrid role based in San Diego, CA, with some in office and mobile specimen collection. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing safe and accurate blood collection, labeling and handling specimens, and preparing samples for transport or laboratory processing. The role involves interacting with individuals in homes, workplaces, treatment facilities, and clinical settings, while maintaining a calm, professional, and empathetic approach. The Certified Phlebotomist will follow all safety and infection control procedures, confirm patient identity, explain procedures, and provide aftercare instructions.
