Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Days | 13 Weeks | 32 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | Start Time 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Occasional Saturday Hours

Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services to a primarily geriatric patient population in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Evaluate and treat patients with stroke and neurological diagnoses
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EHR
• Manage a caseload at a 5:1 patient-to-therapist ratio within a 16-bed unit
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to support patient recovery and discharge planning

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Active and valid SLP licensure or eligibility to practice in New Mexico
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
• No call requirements; no float requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with stroke and neurological patient populations
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records
• Background in inpatient rehabilitation or acute care settings
